A secretive and strikingly colored wrasse with a pinkish-purple body marked by five white vertical bars and a prominent eyespot on the tail. More reclusive than the six line wrasse but equally hardy.

Care Notes

Provide extensive rockwork with caves and crevices. Territorial toward other Pseudocheilinus wrasses — do not mix with six line wrasses. Add last to reduce aggression.

Feeding

Frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and quality marine pellets. Will hunt small bristle worms and pests.
