One of the most popular dwarf angelfish thanks to its brilliant red-orange body with black vertical bars and blue-tipped dorsal and anal fins. Hardy and active, it spends much of its time grazing on rock surfaces.

Care Notes

Provide plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. Only one dwarf angel per tank unless the system is very large. May nip at LPS corals and clam mantles.

Feeding

Spirulina, marine algae, mysis shrimp, and high-quality angelfish preparations. Feed 2–3 times daily.
