A small, beautifully patterned goby with horizontal green and orange stripes. Primarily a microalgae grazer, it hops along the rockwork constantly picking at filamentous algae and biofilm.

Care Notes

Requires a mature tank with established live rock covered in microalgae. Can be difficult to feed in sterile or new tanks. Keep only one unless a mated pair. Peaceful with all other species.

Feeding

Grazes microalgae and biofilm from live rock. Supplement with spirulina, marine algae preparations, and finely chopped frozen foods if the tank lacks sufficient algae growth.
